To use the three-foot arm on larger diameter manholes with the ChrisNik Pipe-Mic II®, follow these steps:
1. Remove the shoulder bolt and offset hole snap pin from the body of the Pipe-Mic II®.
2. Take out the existing two-foot arm and replace it with the three-foot arm extension.
3. Insert the new replacement snap pin provided in place of the bolt.
4. Choose either the "ZERO VERT. OFFSET" hole or the "3’ ARM w/ 1’ VERT. OFFSET" hole and place the offset hole snap pin in it.
5. If your Pipe-Mic II® already has two snap pins, simply pull both pins, replace the two-foot arm with the three-foot arm extension, and insert the replacement snap pin.
Now, your Pipe-Mic II® with the three-foot arm is ready for use on larger diameter manholes.
