Ink vs. Paint:
Ink in permanent markers is translucent. Light is absorbed by the dyes and host surface. The result is that the ink takes on some of the color and tone of the surface. Paint contains solids called Pigment. These solids reflect light back to our eye. This is why we see the color of the paint. If color retention is important for your applications then Paint Markers are the right choice. Typically, Ink dries faster than Paint.
